I used to write out a full explanation every time I wanted AI to help with something, even for stuff I asked for constantly. Same context, same background, typed fresh every single time.

Now I keep a single saved prompt template for anything I do repeatedly, like drafting product descriptions or rewriting captions. I fill in the two or three details that actually change, and skip re-explaining everything else.

Sounds obvious written out like this. It saved me a genuinely surprising amount of time once I started actually doing it instead of just knowing I should.
